Professional Experience
Flávia Filhorini Lepique is an attorney with over 20 years of experience in labor law, in the past 12 years practicing concurrently in the fields of estate planning, compliance, corporate governance and business ethics.

She started her career at the firm Mascaro & Nascimento Advogados, initially as an intern and later as an associate (1997 to 2000). In 2000, she was admitted as an associate lawyer with Castro, Barros, Sobral, Gomes Advogados, coordinating its labor law practice area in 2004, and its compliance area in 2006, becoming the sole partner responsible for its labor and compliance areas in 2011, working in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Lisbon, until the end of 2016 (2000 to 2016), when she founded the firm Filhorini Advogados Associados.

She has large experience in issuing legal opinions and memoranda concerning labor procedure, occupational health and safety (OHS), compensation plans, reviewing internal labor procedures and conducting due diligence, focusing on practices that can cause future liabilities of clients.
She was responsible for implementing innovative profit sharing plans in large corporations, compensation plans, stock options and voluntary severance programs, as well as managing labor crises.

Her experience in litigation includes complex cases at all judicial levels, particularly presenting oral arguments and drafting case briefs. She also has experience in drafting individual employment contracts and collective bargaining instruments, such as for the São Paulo Bank Workers Union (Sindicato dos Bancários de São Paulo), Metal Workers Union of Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo and São Caetano (Metalúrgicos do ABC) and São José dos Campos Metal Workers Union (Metalúrgicos de São José dos Campos), as well in the advertising, retailing, hospitality and food segments.

She also has relevant experience in succession planning, including in the context of mergers and acquisitions, privatizations and corporate restructuring.
She started her practice in the areas of compliance and corporate governance over 13 years ago, with responsibility for adjusting corporate regulations to comply with local and international standards of several foreign banks, corporations and international development agencies, including revision of the compliance program of one of the main Japanese government banks in Brazil.

Finally, she has relevant experience in the assessment of practices adopted by clients, in conformity with internal policies and regulations, as well as advising on the development of integrity procedures and the development of compliance and corporate training.
